"Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme" will be initiated in the month of October 2014. For this purpose a treaty has been signed between Finance Minister and The Punjab Bank. The purpose of this scheme is to provide employment facilities to the young graduates who recently completed their degrees. Graduates of any field/area are eligible for the scheme.
Total 50,000 Suzuki Mehran cars will be handed over to the youth. An agreement has been signed between The Punjab Bank Manager, Punjab Finance Minister and Suzuki Managing Director in the meeting. In the year 2011 Govt. of Punjab gave 20,000 cars under "Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme". This count is now increased upto 150 times in this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:
Every Pakistani national can apply for the "Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme" who fulfills the below criteria:- Matric qualification
- Should not be a bank defaulter
- Have Punjab Domicile
- 15 days driving training
- Have driving license
- Age between 21 - 35 years
- Should be unemployed having assets less than 2 million
The information of Quota system will be uploaded for various districts and tehsils for "Punjab Yellow Cab Scheme"
