Apple Watch

Apple took the wraps off its most anticipated watch that would be company’s very first wearable gadget named as "Apple Watch". Apple Watch has been revealed in 2 different sizes and 3 different editions, Watch, Watch Sport and Watch Edition.

The smart watch accumulates plentiful features. It contains health and fitness monitoring and showing maps. It can notify by a gentle tap that would be felt by user upon receiving an incoming message.

A variety of apps can be run on this watch such as Fitness Track Statistics, which monitor different exercises and activities, calendar and music apps.

It can track all your activities like Jogging, Cycling, Heart Rate etc., but since it’s not water proof, so you cannot wear it while swimming. The simple and powerful graphic of your daily activity in Activity app on Apple Watch concludes with 3 rings telling you everything you need to know.

It has 4 sensors fitted on its back. Sensors can differentiate between a tap and a press, and also detects your pulse.

The watch will be controlled by Digital Crown, a rotatory button that is placed on one side of the watch. The button will be responsible to scroll through the screen and to zoom into the images. By pressing it, user will be directed towards the home screen. To enable the voice commands “Apple Siri” will be used.

It has opened endless opportunities for the developers, as the company announced it would release a kit for developers to build apps for the watch.

Although it’s not water proof but it will be water resistant, that means it can bear a lot of sweat when you are up for a long run and gets entrenched in wetness.

The watch would also be compatible with “Apple Pay” allowing wearer to purchase products by a mere press via NFC technology. It will be compatible with iPhone 5 or above. It will be priced at $349, most expensive than recently announced Android watches.

The new watch will be available in the year 2015.
